Ride the Mountains Down

I will walk from Mexico

I will sail from Spain

I will ride the mountains down  then

And I will ride again

I will look for avenues in the rocks and snow

I will ask the spirits there

They will tell me how to go

If any body asks you where I can be found

Just tell them I am riding mountains down,

I am riding mountains down

I’ll climb the rocks that tower up

I won’t mind the pain

I will breath the evening air

Beyond the window pane

There is nothing to this life

that can not be found

when I ride the mountains down

when I ride the mountains down

Eagle fly and sparrows fly

I will also fly

Cracks in glaciers Cracks in stone

Will not pass me by

Rivers, streams and canyons

Are places where I’m bound

And I will ride the mountains down

I will ride the mountains down

I will ride the mountains

Down from their windy peaks

Like the ragged bunch they are

And I’m one of the freaks

I won’t stop when I am old

I will never die

Not until each rugged place

Looks me in the eye

If any body thinks to ask

Where I can be found

Just tell them I am riding mountains down

I am riding mountains down

I am riding mountains down

 mountains down

I will ride the mountains down.
